Battle of the Bands
Created by Alexis Gideon and Michael O'NeillIn the Spring of 2001, Hampshire College hosted a campus-wide Battle of the Bands.
Naturally, Alexis and I decided to enter, but seeing as we didn't really have a band,
we entered under the name "Battle of the Bands". Within our 30 minutes, we performed
as 5 different acts: Kiwi Smoothie, Goner, The Alabamee, Sonical Foundation and DJ Skribble Skrabble.
We used a backing track of our own Battle of the Bands host, Johnny Johnson - a regular among Tony
Chaos Productions, to introduce the bands as we changed costumes. We won third place.
